Happy Red Nose Day 2019
This year for Comic Relief I had to put my thinking cap on. In the past I have always dressed up but this year I wanted to try something different.
So I thought why not try a class where the Red Nose is used in the class as a piece of equipment! I wasn’t sure it would even work but I am no quitter and I think it has turned out rather well 🙂
It is all a bit of fun and for a great cause so why not join me?
I have a Just Giving Page so if you enjoy the class and it makes you smile, I would love it if you could make a small donation. Any amount gratefully received and all the money goes directly to Comic Relief.
Let’s see how many people we can get doing Pilates for Comic Relief – we could have the largest Red Nose Day Pilates Class EVER!
What you will Need
– A Red Nose (available from Sainsbury’s and Argos)
– A mat
– 1-2 Cushions as we will be lying on our side
– A sense of Humour 🙂
So Grab yourself a Red Nose and lets have a giggle. How many times do you think I drop my nose?!? Who Me?!? Never 😉
Some of the exercises may NOT be suitable if you have been diagnosed with Osteoporosis.
Please make any modifications as you do in our classes and avoid the exercise with the Red Nose balanced on your knee as you have to come into a sit-up position to get the nose situated, which we want to avoid. (You can balance the nose on your stomach instead, it’s still a good challenge!)
If you are at all unsure if these exercises would be suitable, please seek advice before taking part and remember always work at a level that is right for you.
The video is on our sister site Pilates Health Online – which provides Online Pilates Classes for Women over 40.
